gym rules & faqs

We like to be transparent so that everyone knows what to expect and there are no surprises. If you ever have a question or need clarification, always feel free to ask.

GYM RULES

Clean What You Use

In order to make sure everyone stays safe at Highland, please wipe down any equipment you use. We have spray bottles and towels all around the gym. We do our own cleaning at opening and closing, but it's not possible while people are working out.

Leave Machines Where They Are

We planned out the space for efficiency during class and to ensure everyone has ample room for their workouts. Please let a coach know if you have special needs and they'll help you get sorted.

Wait For Everyone To Finish

We're big on being kind and supporting one another. Everyone works at their own pace, and it can be a bit distracting having people clean up around you. If you're finished, feel free to cheer others on who are still going. You can all clean up together once class is over.

Can Anyone Do Drop-In?

Yep! Even if you've never done a squat or anything ever, our coaches can adapt all of our workouts to be appropriate for your level of physical fitness. Just talk to us if you have any concerns and we'll make sure you can get started safely.

Do I Have To Do The Intro Package?

No, but we did design it to be a great way to get started. The private sessions are great for making any adjustments in technique and getting lots of questions answered. They're also discounted since they're bundled. 

Can I Get My Subscription Refunded?

We do not give refunds. Our cancellation policy is super unfussy, just let us know at least 30 days in advance any way you can reach us and we'll terminate future payments. We also have a number of discounted rates you may be able to take advantage of.
